This natural organic compost activator is a blend of 100% natural ingredients that provides a balanced source of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Not only designed to assist the backyard gardener with compost production, this starter will enhance the nutrient qualities of the finished product and promote the presence of a healthy variety of beneficial soil micro-organisms. A few good rules of thumb:  Sprinkle in a handful of starter every time several inches of new material is added to the compost pile. Keep your bin moist (but not saturated). Aerate the pile at least once every two weeks. You should have beautiful living compost within a few short months!
